Meet Gabriella Risatti
Prior to opening her bridal boutique in 2008, Gabriella Risatti spent a decade working in the buying offices of the world renowned fashion labels including Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein.
Her experience and knowledge of the fashion industry coupled with her desire to create a unique and personalized shopping experience for brides led to the opening of Gabriella New York. Since then, Gabriella has quickly been recognized as an expert in the bridal industry, appearing in magazines and websites including Martha Stewart Weddings, New York Magazine, Brides, Grace Ormonde and television shows including CBS’s “The Early Show”, David Tutera’s “My Fair Wedding”, MTV’s “Downtown Girls” and “Entertainment Tonight”. Gabriella is also honored to have served as Vice President of the New York City chapter of Wish Upon a Wedding, the nation’s first nonprofit wish granting organization, providing weddings to couples facing terminal illness and serious life-altering circumstances.
The belief at Gabriella New York is that shopping for a wedding gown should be memorable, personal and genuinely enjoyable. The friendly and knowledgeable bridal stylists will work with each bride in the intimate and relaxed boutique to help select the perfect gown for each individual. The assortment of beautiful gowns, veils and headpieces is unique to Gabriella New York and cannot be found anywhere else in Manhattan.

Meet the GNY Family
Nicole is our superstar Store Director! A Brooklyn native, Nicole is now married with two ADORABLE boys. Between running the store and being a mom, we’re not exactly sure when she sleeps, but she always has a smile on her face, so it’s working for her. Maybe it’s her minor addiction to chocolate? Nicole has been in the bridal industry for 16 years and really, truly, knows everything there is to know, so you are in GREAT hands. She would like to come back as Stevie Nicks, but we personally think she’s just as fabulous as Stevie!
Kailey moved to New York from Denver, Colorado to take the position of Assistant Store Manager in 2017 and we could not be happier. With all of her wonderful experience in bridal, her upbeat personality and her attention to detail, she is a dream come true for brides and team members alike! On a day off of work, she can likely be found watching The Devil Wears Prada, eating cheese from Murray’s Cheese Shop and looking at Pinterest…all with Mitchell, her dog and #1 obsession, of course! We know she’s perfect for bridal because she can find the humor in everything and anything. We love working and laughing with you, Kailey!
Derek studied fashion design in college and is passionate about the arts. His style icon is Audrey Hepburn and he’s a sucker for 1950’s Dior. Originally from Ohio, the people Derek most admires are his parents (can you see why we love him so much?). He loves bridal due to the romance and creative fashion. Derek’s sweet nature and amazing fashion sense make all of our brides fall in love with him. Oh, and Derek’s biggest weakness? CHEESECAKE!
Amber is from Brooklyn, you may have heard of it? Now that she spends her days on this side of the bridge, she is in charge of making things run smoothly behind the scenes here at GNY. You’ll probably hear Amber’s voice when you call the salon and you’ll know it’s her because she is SO friendly and happy! Amber’s guilty pleasure TV show is “Friends” and she’s obsessed with La’Tecia Thomas’ Instagram. Her hidden talent is cooking, Kate Spade is her favorite non-bridal designer and no matter what’s popular in music today, she will always love 90’s R&B – we’re so with you, Amber!
Ashley is originally from North Carolina, but loves New York City, especially Soho. Her fashion brand obsession is Chanel, but she likes to bring that right back down to Earth with her love of baked macaroni & cheese and Oreo cookies. Ashley is an ideal bridal stylist because she has great taste, a calm demeanor and knack for making brides happy, happy, happy! She has a dancing background, studying tap, ballet and modern dance for 8 years, so if you need to practice your first dance, she’s your woman! Her style icon is Rihanna (same) and she would like to come back as Beyonce (again, same). Ashley sums it up with, “What I love most about working at Gabriella New York is creating a memorable experience for my brides and seeing them leave with a smile”. Well, Ash, you make all of us smile everyday, too!
Carleen grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina and has been a stylist with Gabriella New York for over 4 years. Her style icon is Dorothy Dandridge and Carleen is every bit as stylish and beautiful as Dorothy! Carleen is especially good at creating unique looks for brides from head to toe, including amazing accessories. When she’s not styling our fabulous brides, Carleen is also a Yoga instructor and singer. Carleen’s weakness is french fries and really, who can blame her?!
Erin is a bridal stylist from Minnesota, so when we are all freezing in February, she’s laughing and the mild temps! Erin LOVES bridal and has been working in this industry for over 10 years! Her style icon is Iris Apfela and her favorite non-bridal designer is Marc Jacobs. Her guilty pleasures are coffee and ice cream and when she’s not helping brides, she is definitely hanging out in the East Village. She has a deep love for Prince, who was also a Minnesotan, for his music and fierce sense of style. She loves to try on all the new gowns when they arrive at the store – let’s be honest, it’s a major perk of the job!! Fun Fact – Erin also does all of our Social Media – what a rock star!!!!
McKayla Seiber is a bridal stylist from Seattle, Washington, which may explain why she basically always has a coffee in hand. She is one of the bazillion (that’s an official statistic) people watching “Friends” reruns these days, but when she leaves the house she NEVER does so without MAC lip liner in the shade “soar”. She loves the brand Zimmerman and reading style and travel blogs. Blogger Aimee Song is her very favorite... check her out!
Victoria began as an intern and has slowly evolved into “Person in Charge of Everything.” She’s from Mobile, Alabama, which you already know if you’ve heard her talk, y’all. Her favorite food is boiled crawfish and she can’t live without Tobasco. Victoria is especially good at doing about 15 things at once and is also our in house IT specialist. She truly is a woman of many talents and always has a smile on her face, even when she’s on the phone with the cable company! What does she love about bridal? RHINESTONES, RHINESTONES AND... MORE RHINESTONES!
